I didn't appreciate it at the time since I was but a young white child watching the original broadcasts of the show, but watching the reruns on TBS now... damn Thelma was FINE. there was no other female sitcom star at the time that was sexier. I'm pretty sure I got my first erection watching Thelma prance around in those skin-tight jeans and sweaters...oh, and that Afro. Mmmmm. Thelma even makes "Blair" from The Facts of Life look like a cow.

I agree! Do you remember the episode where the Evans' apartment was really cold, then really hot? (yeah, I know...like which episode did that NOT happen?). Anyway, I think the heat had been shut off, then when it came back on it came on way too high. When it got hot Thelma wore a skin tight bikini top showing her EXTREMELY fit body...if you get my drift. She really looked hot in that particular episode.

Damn you know I dont remember THAT episode...Thelma in a bikini? Lord Help Me I need to see that episode. I assume that was a post-John Amos episode, and that's also where I really started to think the show sucked. But just to look at Thelma...and l'il Janet Jacksons ever-developing booty. Mmmm mmm. Anyway they're continuing to show reruns on TBS at 5 am in Canada and maybe I'll catch the Thelma-Bikini show...its funny how all these years later my penis still appreciates her.

Gee, I dont remember seeing that Thelma-Bikini episode. Damn. I bet it was post-John Amos though, which is when the show really started to suck. I dont watch the reruns on TBS now as much because I think they're showing the later years. But if only to look at Thelma, or Janet Jackson's ever developing booty. After all these years, my lily-white penis still appreciates it.

Thelma was a cutie on there. I saw her in rapper Positive K's Carhoppers video & she was in Wreckx N Effect's Wreckx Shop video. U'd have to catch her real quick in the Wreckx N Effect video cause they didn't show her anymore after that. Janet Dubois who played Willona also looked good on there back in the day.

Well it was another black female who was very attractive=she guest starred on good times as J.j's date, and played Grady's grandaughter on "Sanford and Son-I can't remember her real name but she was BEAUTIFUL-it's a shame she is 48 now. she was 21 when she play Grady's grandaughter on Sanford and Son
