Has anyone else seen the article in the Life section of USA Today. It's a full page article reviewing the network shows on the chopping block. It basically says the same thing we've been hearing for months. There is one interesting thing about the piece: NBC has the most shows in jeopardy of cancellation. Is this a good sign? I think so! The more they cancel, the more new shows they'll need to fill the empty spots. Recently, NBC hasn't been so great at developing new shows. Just a thought.

I just skimmed the article online, and took their survey, where they asked what you thought of certain shows on the bubble. "AD" didn't even make their survey.
I sent them an e-mail touting the virtues of "AD". Fools!

I wish I could see that article.
I don't know if NBC having more shows on the block is a good sign or a bad sign for us. Tonight I heard advertised two shows I haven't heard of that NBC is going to have on. Maybe I can watch them to see what they are like. I don't think any of us know how many shows NBC has "in the can"......I never heard of these two tonight. Are there many more waiting? I don't know. Peace. |

One was probably Revelations which is a minseries of about 7 episodes(don't quote me on that) that is premiering tonight. It's about the end of the world. It's airing at 9pm against Idol and is repeating on NBC, CNBC, USA, and Sci-Fi about a hundred times over the next week. It is not going to be back in the Fall.
Not sure what the other is... As with any network in any year, they have ordered pilots of comedies and dramas for the upcoming fall season. What makes it and what doesn't and the fate of American Dreams will be known on May 16th. That's when NBC will present their fall schedule to advertisers. |
