Just read in the new tvguide that Riker and Troi(Jonathan Frakes and Marian Sirtis) from the Next Generation series will be in the Enterprise Finale

yes I know; and I can't wait! I saw the "teaser"-or whatever it's called; you know; when they show scenes from the next episode-and I previously thought that they were just going to do a cameo apperance; but it looks like they'll have at least a couple scenes!

I'm confused. Isn't Enterprise supposed to be set in the past way before TNG or the original Star Trek? How did they interact with them? Was it like when Picard and Kirk teamed?

It's a holodeck thing. I think that Riker and Troi somehow get stuck in the holodeck. I can't remember exactly what the article said

no, Riker programmed the holodeck to show the final voyage of the NX-01.
