I have gotten a couple of PM's from Truthbearer. He/she asked me what my avatar was supposed to be.

I told him/her that it was Paul McCartney. He/she PM'ed me back and asked me "who is Paul McCartney?"

Well, I asked this person if this was a joke or how old he/she was?
I haven't heard back yet . Does anybody know who this is?

Sounds like someone being sarcatsic. I don't think their a newbie either. when you asked was it a joke they didn't respond which seems like something a troll would do.

Of course, you know I'm kidding, Marlene.

But sorry, can't help you about Truthbearer. I notice that sometimes when a person changes their username, they don't say who they used to be, and sometimes, it's hard to keep track of who's who anymore, especially me, who's not able to be on here as much as others.

To not know who Paul though, now matter what age you are, that just makes no sense. You could've just said "Oh, he was in this little band called the Beatles. Nothing special. They didn't make that much impact on the music scene and weren't any influence on future musicians."

Hey, Marlene, I've got a similar story about not knowing somebody. There's an afternoon radio team in our area and one of the guys is named Taco Bob, who I think is a total idiot anyway. When Linda McCartney died, he was telling the other DJ that he was really bummed that day. The other DJ asked why he was bummed, and Bob said that he found out Lynda Carter died. The other guy said that it wasn't Lynda Carter who died, but it was Linda McCartney, and Bob said Who the heck is Linda McCartney?

Yeah, same here, but does appear to be a newbie - joined April 5th and has posted only 9 times so far - a bit of a troll with their own sarcastic remarks so I don't feel nearly as badly now!
