The actress who played Thelma is Bernadette Stanis, and she is married to Kevin Fontana, and has two daughters. She was recently seen guest starring in The Parent Hood and The Wayans Bros.

She most recently has been doing stage plays. I can't recall the titles but I remember hearing her name on the advertisements on televison recently. She also was in Ebony about two years ago, they did a Where are they Now type article and she looked really pretty and she really hasn't changed she really resembled Terry Lewis from En Vogue in the picture. FYI-Her and JJ were in a rap video about 1998 for the rap group Camp Lo named "Luchinni".

I haven't seen her in awhile myself. I went to High School with her and I've often wondered how she is doing. I'm happy to hear she has 2 daughters and a nice hubby. Way to go Bernadette!
