No one had put up an article on it yet, so I decided to do some research and put up an article.

By the looks of it, it seems like Prince did a pretty good job at depicting the riots. The incident with the police that started it all off happened at 9:30 at night, not in the afternoon, as the show suggests. And the Willie Johnson character, while not an actual person, was a caracature of a neighborhood agitator who started the rumors that fueled the rioting.
