Wasn't she pretty young?

She looked young on TV. You would think she'd be in her late 40s- early 50s.

I always had a crush on her even when she was "hotsy" Totsey on Welcome Back Kotter.
A shame

Default VERY VERY SAD NEWS :(

Man Gang...

Debralee was one of the GREATEST reasons to watch this show and I will ALWAYS rember her fondly on the police academy films...I was also in shock to find out that we had lost Tackelberry from those films (David Graf)...

TO THE STUDIOS...PLEASE IN ALL HEAVENS NAME EVEN IF YOU DON'T PLAN TO RELEASE THE DVDS NOW, RECORD INTERVIEWS WITH CASTS NOW, SO WE CAN HAVE THEM LATER TO ENJOY AND LOVE...

WE REALLY NEED THOSE THINGS ON RECORD FOLKS...

Rest in peace Deborahlee...you DESERVE IT

I happened to come across the news of her death today while web surfing. I am shocked! She was only 52 years old. According to what I read she became very depressed after the death of her policeman boyfriend who died in the 911 attack. She moved to Florida and started drinking heavily. She drank herself to death! How sad, I always liked her. She was a television staple in the 70's.
She always reminded me of (looked like) a young Judy Garland.

RIP Debralee!

On Wikipedia, it says Debra lost her fiancee on 9/11. Then, in 2005, she moved to Florida to take care of an ailing sister. Debra went into a coma, but woke up on her own a few days later. She was released from the hospital, then passed away three days later while sleeping.

Sad deal...

I loved her as Mary Hartman's sister Cathy Shumway.

Never go by Wikipedia. They allow people to make changes on that. How many times have we have been told that someone died and they didn't? Too many I tell you. I don't trust that site.

Ummm, she's deceased. It's true. Whether to believe Wikipedia's information is a personal choice.

I remember seeing debra lee in a movie years ago and she was wearing shorts and looked very hot in them, the movie was the reincarnation of peter proud, she had a small part in it but she still looked hot.

I have not heard anything about debra since the 911 attacks until now, this is very sad, she was only 52? I remember how I felt about John ritter dying at this age which is the same way I feel about debra now. RIP Debralee Scott
