Default Idiot With a Net

Every show has its bad episodes and that includes Gilligan's Island. My vote goes to "Man With a Net." That nutcase Lord Beasley needed to be put in a strait jacket and fed strained beets by a wrinkled old nurse wearing support hose. I was watching this episode this morning on the Hallmark Channel and placing bets on which castaway was going to be the first to wake up slap him hard enough to remind him that the lives of 7 people are more important than a butterfly. I know a lot of visitors to the island have been really eccentric, but it was amazingly stupid the way they kept trying to humor Beasley even after trying to reason with him 3 or 4 times.....I wound up yelling at the TV "there are seven of you and one of him! Tie him to a $&**#ing palm tree and take the flares!" ok, ok so Lord B is supposed to be so preoccupied with butterflies that he doesn't notice the rest of the world, but the actor didn't do it well enough to make it seem funny. He just looked like an a**.

The only reason I'd want this episode is because it's impossible to have a complete collection without it.

I liked Man With A Net. I think it was bad that when he returned to the US he doesn't tell about the castaways because he wanted to go to the south pole to get a rarer butter fly. but of course if he did that there would be know series. Its not one of my all time faovites but its still not that bad.

It wasn't just "bad" that he didn't say anything....it was downright evil. He knew they desperately wanted to be rescued and he just left them there. Lots of people are pretty selfish, but very few people would actually leave 7 people stranded without even a hint of guilt. I hope he froze solid in Antarctica. It would serve him right, the bas**rd.

Erica Tiffany Smith was bad to. She probably could have figured it out where they were. Even Johhny the captain of her boat should have known. She was evil to. Alot of the guest stars were evil. Wrongway Feldman could have said something when he brought Gilligan the medicine. Duke Williams hit his head, he is realy the only one with a real excuse. The Hunter who wanted to hunt Gilligan was bad to and the imposter GIlligan, The Imposter Mr Howell and the imposter Gilligan could have said something. The russian cosmonauts could have to. What I don't get is if the natives could make a boat why couldn't the castaways. Oh well Gilligan is in't spouse to bee looked at like evil and good but sometimes is noticeable. Gilligan is just created to make you laugh and have a good time.
