Default Smoking

I know noone can do anything about this, but I just have to say it: I have a very good, very dear friend who lives 800 miles away and she smokes; and I wish she'd stop!!

(to be fair; though; she IS trying to; and she only does it occasionally)

I wish my dad would stop smoking. He keeps saying he's trying to cut back, but I would like him try to stop cold turkey. Smoking is a really bad habit. And, smoking is so bad for people's health, too.

I despise smoking. I usually just keep my mouth shut about it though because smokers are extremely stubborn.

I quit smoking, thank God. I always knew it was nasty, but I never had the willpower to quit... until I was in the hospital for an appointment, and I saw an old man in a wheel chair with a hole in his throat. The image scarred my mind.

It hasn't been long since I did, but nonetheless, I'm doing good so far. I am trying to find other ways to release stress.

Smoking is much more than a bad habit. It's highly addictive, which is best to avoid altogether for those who never tried it!

omg wonderful!

i don't think smokers are stubborn. all the smokers i know really wish they could quit and it doesn't seem like they really like smoking at all. they just are addicted and can't help themselves.

I quit smoking in 1990 after smoking for over 20 years. It can be done! Some smokers go over to chewing tobacco but I know a man who chewed and he now has half of his face missing due to mouth cancer. It's really gross. So please quit before it's too late!
