I was just going to ask the same thing. I'm waiting as patiently as I can for the release of the Official DVDs. It seems they could release a Complete Box Set very easily, since it's just two seasons. I really hope "The Powers That Be" get around to releasing it soon. I really want TAF on DVD!! Does anyone know who owns the rights to the original Addams Family series? I'd love to write and ask them to please release this classic show on DVD.

Hi pat,

Thanks so much for answering my question. I went to MGM's website after I read your post. MGM has a Contacts page where we can submit e-mail. Here's the link http://www.mgm.com/help.do .
Thanks again!

The Addams Family was a far superior show than the Munsters. It had better scripts and performances. I always thought the Munsters was unimaginative and juvenile but they choose to release it on dvd and the not the Addams Family. No justice in this world.

I'm sure they would if you hadn't taken it all.

Seriously stop coming over here and trying to start fights. This is like the 3rd time now you are doing this. Can't we ever have an opinion here without being picked on? You don't see any Addams Family fans going over to the Munsters board starting fights, do you? Just leave us alone.

They are both good shows, but I like The Addams Family more because of the cast.

Nice lame comeback, there.

Whatever Munsters board I have gone to, no one ever talks about the Addams Family, but, whatever Addams Family board I go to, it's like, The Munsters are on DVD why not The Addams Family?

OK, first of all, the Addams Family and the Munsters are not the same show. They are not owned by the same company, they did not even air on the same network.

I could care less if this show was release on DVD. I recorded every episode off of TV Land during the 48 marathon they had last year.

I'm glad to know The Addams Family fans are mature enough to complain about it here on an Addams Family board than the Munsters board. Now if only The Munsters fans were mature enough to let The Addams Family fans bitch about whatever they want to here without fighting with them.

guys these board fights aren't a good thing, i've been through many of them. and at the end i feel so stupid for getting into the fight. im not really not a fighting guy actually. christopher likes the munsters and munsters #1 likes the munsters.

now munsters #1 is a good friend of mine and i know he's a great guy. im certain you are too christopher. can we call a truce? lets get back to the subject at hand... the addams family dvd, before we say anything else we may regret.

Oh, only thinking of yourself, and not the millions of other fans that did not record the episodes.

You started the argument, not I.
