Job interviews Pt. 2 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm curious about something.

I went on a second interview this past Tuesday. The interviewer told me that they would make a decision on Wednesday.

My question is this, even though it is Friday and I know that I didn't get the job, wouldn't be courteous of the interviewer to give me a call to let me know they decided to give the job to someone else????

I haven't received a word. Like I said I know because there was no call and it has been three days that I didn't get the job, but common courtesy is all I ask. Am I wrong to expect a call???

You're not wrong to expect a call, but what you should have done was call them and inquire about the job. They like that "proactive" kind of crap.

Makes them think you really want to work for them.

you should call. they might of had a lot of interview(ees?) and calling makes it seem like you're more interested in the job.

Even though I know the outcome, I guess I will give them a call on Monday.

Yeah tell me about it....all employers are jerks, they say they'll call and let u know but none of them do!
