For the first time, last night I noticed the apparent closeness in age between Whitman Mayo and Demond Wilson, despite the fact that their characters are a generation apart.
From reading posts here, I'd read that Mayo and Wilson were within a very few years of one another, but never really got that impression from watching them perform in their makeup and costumes. The episode on TV Land last night, with Grady falling for, and proposing to, Dolly, was the first (in what, 33 years of watching the original run and reruns?) that I noticed a particularly youthful appearance in Mayo, beneath the makeup artist's work. So, what exactly is the age difference? FredFan55 |

I thought I'd read that they were much closer in age than that.
Thanks. FredFan55 |
