It all depends. Here are some I like: Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth". The Rolling Stones's "Mother's Little Helper" and "Highwire." The Beatles: "Revolution" and "Revolution 1."

I dont really understand what you mean by message songs so to speak,but if you mean songs with a "message",I gotta say most songs I like,I like because they do communicate some kind of message to me.

There were a lot of message/protest songs in the 60's. I liked some of them but I would rather listen to something that I don't have to "think" about.
