"G.I. Joe" and "The Transformers" are great WPIX classics from the 80's. I think the 8:30 AM slot was playing "Scooby-Doo" from the actual series "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?", "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" (back then it was a half-hour in syndication in two parts before Cartoon Network and Boomerang aired "Scooby-Doo Movies" into an hour long show) and finally "The Scooby-Doo Show" (a syndicated title of the "Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour" featuring the Scooby-Doo episodes from the first hour instead of the Dynomutt episodes in the second hour). Channel 11 (or 11 Alive), WPIX used to aired the "Scooby-Doo" series years ago, but not for long until like 1989 or 1990. When channel 11 (WPIX) began its relationship with the WB since 1995, they brought back "Scooby-Doo" after its hiadus from its WPIX 11 Alive days. I looked in the Saturday's schedule that channel 11, which is a WB affiliate aired "What's New Scooby-Doo" which it ran on Saturday mornings. It's great to have this show back. That schedule was about 10 years before the launch the WB. As for "Carson's Comedy Classics", the show was a rerun of the "Tonight Show" featuring numerous sketches from Johnny Carson's show.
