Default Things you don't do since the Internet?

I rarely use the phonebook for looking up business numbers. Instead I go to www.Switchboard.com

I don't buy TV Guide anymore. I used the TV Listings on AOL.

I don't call for movie theater info anymore. That's www.moviefone.com

I buy all my books at Amazon.

I don't even buy magazines anymore. I read articles on the web.

For movie info I go to IMDB - I used to always go to Leonard Maltin's book.
My roomates (back then) and I used to call it the bible, or say, "look up in Lenny."

IMDB was one of the first major discoveries I found for myself on the net.
I remember back then having to tell everyone about it.
Now it is a staple and the source for movies.

I still like looking up stuff in Leonard Maltin's book but mine is so outdated.
I think I still might get a new one to have for reading in situations when not near the computer.

I use to read Entertainment Weekly religiously. Now with the internet I have so many resources for movies and TV that I hardly ever crack it open.

I have quit shopping in store... I check online, and then purchase(unless I know it's on sale somewhere).

I have quit watching The Weather Channel since I can get more timely weather info(and not have to wait on some boring documentary to be over) to see the radar.

No TV Guide's anymore

98% of my free time(which is basically all day) is spent on this thing. Yes... I'M ADDICTED TO THE INTERNET! When it goes down, it's like I lost my best friend.

I pay all my bills online.

I bank online.

I search TV listings on www.zap2it.com

I get all my news online instead of watching it on TV or reading the newspaper.

I search for maps/locations/phone numbers on www.yellowpages.com

I also pay most of my bills online.

I used to go the library, but don't feel the need to with the internet.

For a couple of years, I got my dvds delivered from www.Netflix.com, but I was waiting too long for movies, so I stopped.

I send flowers online through www.1800Flowers.com

I get directions from www.MapQuest.com

I read Dear Abby and Ann Landers everyday online.

I check the weather. The Weather Channel is on my AOL Welcome Page.

Before I moved last fall, I often shopped for groceries online. That was great. Delivered right to my door.

i can buy things online instead of waiting to go to the store.
if i forget song lyrics, something in a TV show, someone's name or anything i can look it up.
i can download songs.
i can keep up to date on everything i'm interested in.

i don't even remember what life was like before i got the internet. i can't believe i used to go every day without it.

Hmm, I really can't think of very much.

I guess I use IMDB.com to find out about a movie.

But I still go to the library to get books or the bookstore, because reading stuff on the screen is not the same at all as actually reading it from a book!

I still buy magazines since I always have to read magazines in my bed before I go to sleep.

Oh, yeah I listen to internet radios stations (like Egg Radio) online since regular radio these days pretty much SUCKS!

That's how I get my tv listings, too. Our sunday newspaper always comes with a weekly TV schedule, so that's VERY nice to have. Also, our daily newspaper has a evening tv schedule of all the shows.
