Default New York Daily News TV Critic says the Untold Story of Mork and Mindy on NBC tonight

is UNWATCHABLE-lol I will watch anyway since they are no NBA Games scheduled. He also said that the things revealed about Robin Williams was better left Untold. I disagree because since I know he was a cocaine user, that explains his bizarre behavior on the show.

I watched and enjoyed it too! However, there were several errors made: The "Happy Days" 1978 episode that started it all did not have Laverne in it. I don't remeber Fred's music store being in any of the eppies that were aired after Conrad Janis and Elizabeth Kerr came back to "M&M."...and a couple of others.

In addition, the movie had aliases for the writers and other staff members. And, the censors didn't have that much trouble with Robin's slang. If anything, they pretty much worked with Robin and fought ABC brass. I've read that much of the censoring dealt with the show's sponsors. Example: Robin wanted to do a joke about kangoaroo-meat hamburgers, and McDonald's was a sponsor, so that one (joke) was killed.

Laverne was in the Mork and Mindy Pilot along with Fonzie. So that was not an error

Sorry to disagree, but as it was portrayed in the movie it seemed as though the first episode with Mork on Happy Days had Laverne appear. In actuality it had Richie. In the Pilot episode of Mork and Mindy, Laverne did appear however.

First I just want to say that I enjoyed the movie.

Second When I use to see the show in it's original run I had an inkling that Robin had to be using something. He was just too out there in LA LA Land........

As a fan I've always liked Robin even though there were times I was hoping that he would make it through and not have a bad overdose or something like Belushi.

I was hoping that the movie would talk about how he broke up his marriage by having an affair with his baby sitter. But I guess they couldn't have a 4 hour mini series.

i think i only remember seeing one ep where his drug use was really obvius it was in ether season 2 or 3 and it was an ep where mork thought a house was hunted the ep could havee been extra funny but it was just avrage due to the ffact that robins normally impcable timing was way way off and he looked like he had not slept for a week i think that was the only time i have ever seen a lackluster preformance from him in any media

Been a robin williams fan all my life.. Grew up watching him.. Loved Mork and Mindy! Last night's movie was awesome!!!! I was really impressed with the actor. He looked and acted like Robin so well! I was cracking up because he was so funny. I forgot that he wasn't Robin Williams.. It was hard watching him go through his rough times. Poor Robin.. I still love and respect him! Nobody is perfect we all make mistakes. Especially when we are younger.

Wow I didn't know he knew John Bulushi and were friends. When John died wow Robin was there the night before.. I bet Robin felt so incredibly guilty.. It wasn't your fault Robin! You didn't know that was going to happen. That head honcho guy frank was it? Or Fred? ruined the Mork and Mindy show!! ARGH!!!! When his wife said to him just don't sleep with anybody else it seemed like she was joking and then when Robin had this serious look on his face she has this surprised look and then walked away upset. So he must have cheated on her then.. Robin was in the phone booth talking to someone and a mob of fans just came up and scared him.. Geez! that's awful.. Great movie!!! I wonder if Robin was watching it and I wonder what he thought.. If he saw it it was probably hard to watch.

I think he's always been really up front about his past drug and alcohol use. I've seen him discuss it or make a crack about it on lots of talk shows.
Hey - doesn't change my opinion of him one bit - I've always loved the guy. Couldn't believe the rapid-fire wit he had. It was like watching the WB Tazmanian Devil live in person every time he stepped into a scene or was on Carson.
