Hey wait.....I see on your profile that you're just a little over a month younger than me. How can you be starting HS a year before me?

Back in the day when computers were just being installed in public schools, I remember we use to play those math games during Algebra 1.

I started high school in August 1998! Let's see how well my memory is and see what I took my freshman year- first semester:

theology (religion)
pre-algebra
physical science
PE
chorus
geography
study hall
english

I think that's it! wow, I can't believe I remembered all that. That's not really the order of the classes (in the day) though.

Hmm lets see if I can remember -

9th grade -
Pre Algebra
Drawing
World Geography
Biology
Individual Sports
English

10th grade -
History
Applied Geometry
Physical Science
Composition
Painting
General Foods
Child Development
Speech
Health

11th grade -
Government
Motivational Psychology
Psychology
Literature
Sculpting
Child Care
Contemporary Living

12th grade -
Earth Science
Advanced Composition
Art
Environmental Science
Independant Living

I think that's about it. As you can see we didn't need very many credits to graduate and the classes were not that demanding. We only needed 2 math credits, 2 science credits. Computers and Foreign language were not required. I took the easiest classes possible. I couldn't wait to get out of that place. I didn't even have Algebra I or a foreign language till I got to college. I regret spending my hard earned money on those classes when I could have taken them in HS for free.

Well I'm in 9th grade now. You either love it or hate it. That's all I got to say on going through high school. I just got put in honors classes for some reason

Creative Writing (1st sem)
Scene Study (1st sem)
Chorus
Honors World History
Algebra I
Spanish II

Scene Study II (2nd Sem)

Next year I know some of my classes

Biology
Spanish III
Geometry
I don't know what for English

And I signed up for:

Technical Theater

I'm surprised I remembered all of these in order:

9th grade
Spanish 1
Algebra 1
World History
English 9
Biology
PE/Health
Religion

10th grade
1st semester: Keyboarding/2nd semester: Computer Applications
American History
American Literature
Spanish 2
Anatomy
1st semester: Church History/2nd semester: Morality
Geometry

11th grade
Algebra 2
World Literature
1st semester: Death & Dying/2nd semester: Catholic Perspectives
1st semester: Economics/2nd semester: Desktop Publishing
1st semester: Current Events/2nd semester: Government
Accounting
Chemistry

12th grade
Pre-Calculus
1st semester: Novels/2nd semester: Creative Writing
Physics
World Religions

Then my senior year, I took 3 college classes: Intro to Computers, American History since 1877, and Psychology (worst class EVER).

Last year (9th grade)
Studio Art
Spanish 2
Math B1
Global History pt. 1 honors
English honors
Living Environment
Gym/Swim

This year (10th)
Global History AP, pt 2
Health
Math B2
Gym
Drawing and Painting
Spanish 3
Chemistry (don't...please for the love of God don't do this to yourself...unless, er, you like that sort of ****)
English Honors

Next Year (11th grade, what I signed up for)
Math B2 (hopefully, under the circumstances I pass)
Marine Biology (whether I pass Chem or not)
English Honors (hopefully I stay in it)
Graphics
Spanish 4 (hopefully)
Gym
American History
Keyboarding/other computer ****

12th grade um...that year will be a lot more free for me. No math, no science. I'll focus mainly on english and art classes, even music classes would be nice, although I don't know if you have to start in 9th and go up, and I went the art way. So that will be a fun year. Maybe I'll pull the fire alarm on the last day, which I won't, but maybe I would. Even though I won't.

Oh... I HATED my Freshman year. I started homeschooling halfway through, but here was my schedule before that, the only special class I took was Choir(P.E. was required), plus English/Physical Science(had to be technical)/Algebra/World History.
