Cool, great article. Definately no reunion then. I didn't think they showed Cybill in a very good light though.

I saw bits of that Little Ant and Dec interview. Unfortunate that Bruce wasn't clued up, but hilarious.

It's time they meet, so he can give her that hug...

this interview captured something for me that i haven't been able to see in an american interview.
there's a mystery for me- in that i don't really like bruce willis. i have no idea why-it's more like a feeling of boredom. i do love, love, love him as david addison and in some of his movies. in other words, i love his acting, i just have a real apathy towards him. and it's not his politics, lifestyle, money, private life or anything else i can figure out. maybe i love some of his work so much that i feel i should like him when he's not working, and that's just not the way it is. i think i'll skip the interviews from now on and just watch his work.

Do you need to be 'clued up' when you're being interviewed by ten year olds? :P

Marla, I understand.

I too love Bruce in Moonlighting, I love him in some of his films and even on Friends but in real life - nothing. I suppose we can't all like all people ...

Tamm

ps I still think he looks really good though and the article had some nice pictures in the hard copy version

There's something about Bruce that I can't quite put my finger on either.

I use to like him but I've changed my mind.

I do wish these moonlighting stars would get together though.

as far as sex appeal:

david addison drives me crazy

bruce willis bores me to tears.

i do think bruce willis is an amazing actor to pull that off.

Very good article, very honest and pretty good journalism. Not the usual slagging him off for no good reason or fawning all over him you often get.

I agree with Taz, I'd like to see that hug too!

I think all this shows is that Bruce is a damn fine actor and he's not David Addison and never really has been!!

I really love Bruce Willis as David Addison too, but he's not the same in real life. I think it would be great for cybill and Bruce to meet up now beacuse I dont think that there will be a reuninon show :-( xx

As I've said before, much as I'd love to see Bruce and Cybill meet up in real life, I wouldn't want to see a reunion show, I think it would be far too late and if it wasn't the same, it would ruin it for me... Buy hey, that's just my opinion!

I agree.

Bruce Willis is a great actor, he did a very good job as David Addison on "Moonlighting" and I love his movies but that's it...I don't really like him as a real person, then again I don't know him personally but what I've read about him and his attitude is enough for me to say no thanks...

It would, however, be nice if Bruce and Cybill could meet, hug as he said and talk about old times...it seems that there is alot to talk about.

One thing's confusing though, usually it's Bruce and Cybill never got along they hated each other but you have the great chemistry onscreen and I still think that you can't fake it...if you hate each other it somehow always shines through...also from what I've read mostly from Cybill it seems that they 'liked' each other...

Hey BSDDomi,

I agree that I'd love to see Bruce and Cybill together for a TV show or even for DVD commentaries or something. You never know...one day..

I really don't think it's a matter that anyone hates anyone else to be honest, it's all too long ago for feelings to be that high, and as you said, they couldn't have created that chemistry if it was all about hate.

The press tend to make a meal out of any arguments on a show and only tend to show certain sides of people, so like us, they don't actually know Bruce or Cybill as 'real people' at all. I feel that if we only know someone through what the press have said, we really can't know them... I expect if I was interviewed on TV or for a newspaper I wouldn't come across as I really am either (but maybe that's a good thing!!!)

Hey Mul,

yes,a 'reunion' of that sort would be nice. It doesn't have to be a movie, just a little something with them sitting together talk about old times, the good and the bad times they shared...we know we all have them...

thinking about The Nanny reunion..it was fun, it was too bad they showed too many clips but we didn't get to hear much of them and their memories of the good ol times..

I know that it would be great to have such a thing for Moonlighting...also a perfect way to forgive for the two main stars...who else would want to see such a reunion?

I loved the audio commentaries they did but just like they did with the Sledge Hammer! audio commentaries they always did them separately...ie. the main stars never got together to talk about one particular episode, usually it was just one person, an actor with a producer etc...had they used Bruce and Cybill for one Moonlighting episode that would have been nice or Cybill with Allyce or Cybill with Allyce and Bruce...maybe something to think about for future Moonlighting releases..

Mul, I know what you mean by not coming across as you really are...I don't even want to think about what I would be like..or even worse, what they would make out of it...although I don't mind facing big audiences, I've done alot of that in the past...when I was younger my passion was theatre and I always had to give speeches

yeah, a commentary with Bruce and Cybil would be great. What I'd really love to see(though I know probably won't happen) would be to see a little teaser at the beginning like they did in some of the shows. You know, in character, hi Im' Maddie Hayes, I'm David Addison sort of thing, with Caron writing some hilarious lines.
