Janet Wood is sitting at home trying to finish some paper work. Her boss has just appointed her the new manager of the Arcade Flower Shop. As she signs the last form, the telephone rings. "Hello." "Hello, may I speak to Jack Tripper please?" "I'm sorry, Jack's not here right now. May I take a message?" "Yes, My name is Susan Wells. I'm from the Child Protection Agency." "What do you want with Jack?! He doesn't have any children!" "Well, a Ms. Rita Simmons was in a car accident and passed away yesterday, but before she died, she said that she had an infant daughter staying with her parents. She said that her daughter's father is Mr. Jack Tripper." Janet falls to the floor, still cradling to phone to her ear. "Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?" Janet regains composure. "Yes, I'm here." "Will you please tell Mr. Tripper that he needs to come to our office to pick up his daughter?" "I certainly will." "Thank you. Good bye." "Bye." Janet hangs up the phone and stares blankly at the wall. "Jack Tripper has a baby?! I can't believe it!" At that very moment Jack comes through the door. He smiles at Janet. "Hi honey I'm home!" He laughs and kisses her on the cheek. "Did you have a good day?" "Yes Jack, I did. Someone called for you." "Oh? Who was it?" "A Mrs. Susan Wells." "What did she want from me?!" He looks very puzzled. "Not much. She just wants you to come pick up your daughter." "Oh, is that all?! Wait..... my WHAT?!" "Your infant daughter Jack!" Jack looks at Janet with sheer confusion in his eyes and plops down on the couch.

Whoa!Jack got a girl pregnant.Dang,first Janet Mac made a FF where Janet was pregnant in high school and she met her daughter years after,now Jack got a girl pregnant.Wow these FFs get more interesting everytime!

Chapter 2

Jack's mind is reeling with questions. Why did this happen? Why hadn't Rita told him sooner? What will Janet think of him now? He looks up to see Janet's soft, understanding eyes starring down at him. As he looks at her she smiles. Sure she's angry with him, but he is her best friend and she loves and supports him no matter what. Jack smiles back at her. "Would you like to go with me to the store to help pick out some things for my baby?" As soon as the words leave his mouth he finally lets it sink in. He has a baby, a little girl, he's a father now. As he drifts back to reality, Janet answers his question. "Yes Jack, I'd love to help. Besides, I think I know a little more about girls than you do!" They laugh. "Let's go." They get into Jack's car and drive to Wal-Mart. Janet skims through the baby clothes, picking out some outfits that she would choose for her own daughter, while Jack looks for a car seat. "Janet, you go get the formula you think is best and I'll get some blankets and a crib and meet you at the check-out counter." "Ok Jack." After finding a crib and some pink blankets and grabbing a few toys he couldn't resist, Jack hurries to meet Janet up front. After purchasing their items they hurry out to the car. Jack fastens the car seat in place in the back of his car. "Well, I guess it's time to go pick up my baby."

Janet notices the excitement and antisipation on Jack's face as they pull into the parking lot of the CPA. A friendly woman greets them at the front desk. "Hello! May I help you?" "Yes, My name is Jack Tripper. I'm here to pick up my daughter." "Right this way Mr. Tripper, we've been expecting you." Jack and Janet are led into a room with several cribs. The woman leads them to the last crib in the corner. Janet looks down and sees a small, female version of Jack Tripper. She has her father's eyes, nose, and hair color. "Her name is Mikalah Grace Tripper." Jack picks the tiny baby up in his arms. "Hi Mikalah! I'm your daddy!" The tiny baby smiles at her father. Janet would know that smile anywhere. It was one of those special Jack Tripper smiles. Tears stream down both of their faces. "I just can't believe that this beautiful little angel is my baby!" "She looks just like you Jack." Jack beams with pride as his kisses his infant daughter on her forehead. "I love you little Mikalah!"
