Default The BEATLES were out-of-sight!

The other day I was walking around a store and on the radio I heard in
beautiful stereo sound.......

I'm so sorry
Uncle Albert...................................

Of course I stopped and made believe I was looking at items in the store but I was really listening to the song. I couldn't help but think that these dudes.......................................... were so freaking gifted.................................. I kept on hearing the song and the background instruments..... They will always be #1 in my life. I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!

Actually that is Paul McCartney and Wings. I love that song too! It's so cool! And different.

Nope! That's Paul & Linda McCartney. He sang "Uncle Albert" and it was from the album "Ram". I have the record of that in my collection. Wings started in around 1971 until they broke up in 1981.

The version I'm talking about is Uncle Albert from the Abbey Road album. The 4 Beatles sang in that album. Linda wasn't even around at the time.

There is no version of "Uncle Albert" (actually "Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey") on Abbey Road. Paul had already been married to Linda for six months when it was released.

You hear that sort of thing in a lot of places. That's not my milieu. Rock and roll is good-time music. I love rock. So did my parents.

If he was married which I believe was in 1969 I had no idea Linda was involved in this song.

Back then I didn't hear of her. She was hidden.

I thought that John was involved in the song. Hence The Beatles.

Nope, the other Beatles were not involved that I know of.

Umm, I just happened to listen to Abbey Road last night, and there is no Admiral Halsey on that album/CD.
