Never Ever, Ever go to that site, I am grounded for 2 months and have to do volleteer work on The weekends and my brothers chores, Because I visited it while My mom was in the room, I thought It would be about the Girls But it is another "Whitehouse.com" scam. Just trying to save you alot of trouble

Plus, anything that's got the word "girls" in the title should be checked by an adult first so you won't get in trouble. Porn is everywhere.

Never been to goldengirls.com myself, but I'm assuming it's like the other sites that you think "oh this'll be a good place" and it ends up NOT being one.

Ga, that big punishment seems unfair for the circumstances. Try explaining to your mom that you were looking for a Golden Girls TV show site. It wasn't your fault.

to that site if the person knew what the
site really was, but since you didn't
know that it was a porn site, I don't
understand how you could get in trouble.
If I may ask, how old are you? The
internet has a restriction about not
letting young kids or young teenagers
view certain sites.

No, AOL has a restriction...if a kid goes on a regular server like internet explorer on MSN, there isn't a restriction.

Oooh. You know what? I typed in an address one time thinking I would find a webpage for the Jeffersons and reached a porno site. I won't x-plain what I saw in detail. I was not expecting to see what I saw. My supervisor asked me what I was doing. I said, I'm just trying to find George and Weezy that's all. LOL. I hurried and deleted that. How Awful!

I think the webmaster of gg.com registered that domain specifically because they knew lots of people would automatically put that in their browser address window, innocently looking for a site dedicated to their favourite sitcom but would get a lot more than they bargained for. It's sick

My website can be accessed by a few domains, including http://www.thegoldengirlsuk.com - many people saw the web address and assumed it was porn related with the SUK at the send can you believe, lol, so being the kind of person that I am, I registered http://www.the-goldengirls.com to avoid any confusion

I think the question is how long did you stay on the site after you saw it was pornography. If your mom caught you on it, but you didn't mean to, print these posts out for her. You shouldn't be punished for something that isn't your fault. That happened to me once to before I was 18, I know it can be a pretty embarrassing situation.
