Post Everyone's Favorite Episode

Hello,

I'm a new member here, and am glad to be here. I was wondering what everyone's favorite Episodes were. My favorite is when Rose Loses her Teddy Bear Fernando, I think its one of the funniest Episodes!

Also I was reading earlier posts, and had a question if the quotes on the bottom are your FAV Quotes? I assume they are so I'll post mine!

********************************************
"Your a fury Little gnome and we feed you too much" Dorothy to Sophia (Golden Girls)

"And that, Marjorie --- just so you will know --- and your children will someday know --- is the night the lights went out in Georgia! " Julia (Designing women)

"If you are looking for somebody to suck pearls, then I suggest you try finding yourself and oyster" Julia (Designing women)

"Shady Pines Ma" Dorothy (Golden Girls)

I can't pick just 1 favorite, there are so many I love! Some of my favorites include (sorry, I don't know the actual names) the one where they put on the "Henny Penny" play, the one where the girls go to Blanche's grandmother's house when they're going to knock it down, the one where Dorothy becomes popular singing at the "Rusty Anchor", & the last episode.

gosh, theres so many:
~Murder mystery weekend
~dikimmel auction
~wake up miami with dorothy/blanche lesbians

theres so many, i cant think of them. the only episode I never really liked was when their neighbor was having marital problems with her doctor husband, this ep had hardly anything to do with the girls.

Hey, did you know that that episode is the original pilot for "Empty Nest"? ("Empty Nest" is even the episode title). The doctor is played by Paul Dooley instead of Richard Mulligan, and his wife is alive. Dinah Manoff and David Leisure also appear. I agree with you, it's not very good, but it's interesting to compare it to the second "Empty Nest" pilot to see how much the concept changed.

I really like the episode where the neighbor girl takes Rose's teddy bear hostage, too.

I have several favorites-

The one where they had flashbacks about places they'd slept...
The one where they put on Henny Penny...
The one where Blanche suppodedly went to bed with Rose's husband...

Those three ALWAYS make me laugh.

The one where they all have the flu (except Sophia) and are all snapping at eachother.

Also I like the one where Blanche finds out she's a "Feldman" and one of her great grandparents was born a little outside of Atlanta (Buffalo) .

Cool

I'd have to say almost all of them. I mean I like the ones like the garage sale where the girls can't get bear to part with their stuff, the one I saw the last night where Sophia was accused of burning down Shady Pines (got to love the flashback episodes), and the one where Rose thought she killed the man she slept with among many others. "There's a man in your bed" "why Rose you little devil!...." "The man in your bed is dead" (I forget a lot of the middle dialogue offhand) "You could light firecrackers in his nose, he's not waking up!"

I guess I really liked the one where they were supposed to win the Lottery with Dorothy's ticket then Sophia gave the jacket to the goodwill by mistake and they went to get it back from the shelter. It wasn't one of the funniest ones, but I still liked it.

The ones with Stan have to be my least favorite only because I've seen them so many times, and if I hear "hi, it's me, Stan" one more time, I feel like I'll go insane.

**Gracie**

------------------
Delivery guy: "Blanche Deverux?"
Dorothy: "That's Devereaux...it's only pronounced the other way in limericks."
~~~~~~~~~~
Sophia: "Let me tell you girls the three most important things I learned about life: number one, hold fast to your friends; number two, there's no such thing as security; and number three, don't go see "Ishtar." Woof!"
~~~~~~~~~~
Dorothy: "You'll have to excuse my mother, she recently had a stroke rendering her totally annoying."
~~~~~~~~~~
Sophia: "Sticks and stones may brake your bones, but cement pays homage to tradition!"
~~~~~~~~~~
Sophia: "I think im pregnant."
Dorothy: "What happened, the rabbit died laughing?"
~~~~~~~~~~
Rose: "Sophia, why are you in such a bad mood?"
Sophia: "Excuse me Rose, I haven't had sex in fifteen years and its starting to get on my nerves."
