focus your attention on first? Finding Love or Finding a job? Some people think it's ok to still looking for that special someone and they don't have a job. If i have no job, i can't think about finding a companion, I need to find a JOB first!!!-lol Anyone Agree?

Finding a job. I mean it's great if you can find that special someone, especially if they can pay your bills. Without a job, you can't really survive in the world.

Try anything. Right now I still live with my parents and sister. I babysit
my 5 year old nephew. I want to save the money I earn from doing this so that I can find my own place to live and get a job somewhere else and also for transportation money because I can't drive due to a visual disability. |

I think doing both is not a good idea. Why bring problems into a relationship when you can just find the job first and then look for a companion later. |

well, i guess it depends on what you mean by companion. If you mean looking for a serious relationship that could lead to marriage--obviously you don't need to be jobless--and of course, not having a job would make it pretty hard to pay for dinner...making second base all the more harder to reach. But just dating around-hey if you can afford it, i say go for it if you feel comfortable and you find someone that doens't care if you are currently working or not.

Well, I did meet my wife while I was unemployed. She would pay for us at times because I had no money. It was kind of demoralizing for me because as a man, I feel I should pay. It all worked out in the end, but I would definitely say get a job first.

If I was not working, then the very last thing that would be on my mind would be finding a romantic relationship. I would not want to date a man who was unemployeed and vice-versa...
