Hi,
Brought that up because I like it when the original logos are not replaced. I hope if it is on DVD it will have it. I have not see this show since the late 80's or early 90's on broad cast tv. I saw part an episode at the Museum of Broadcast Comunications in chicago in July of 1996. |

Hey, you're not the only one that can't stand it when original logos are replaced or in a another word for it "plastered" ! It's not just Paramount doing it to their original logos. Warner Bros. does this often, up until Sony bought the ownership for Columbia/Tristar last year, they've plastered the original logos for their company names with a stupid and annoyingly repetitive logo called "The Boxes of Boredom" logos. However, some shows still retain their original logo in some local reruns. Local Family Ties reruns in Chicago kept their original logo, Barney Miller sometimes keeps their original logos and also shown the Columbia Pictures Sunburst also. And on some DVD's of some shows, their original logo is kept intact like the case was on Full House recently. |

Hi I know this already,
I was just mentioning Paramount because that what Love American Style is from and I was trying not to change the subject very much. I learned about the term plastering from a yahoo group CLG or The Closing Logo Group. Are you familiar with this Group or are you part of it? I also send a message like to the " Here's Lucy", "Happy Days" , and "The Odd Couple message board. I discovered The "Here's Lucy" one before I even Joined CLG. I saw that some people have tapes of "Here's Lucy" and on the Odd Couple Guest Book on The Odd Couple site I mentioned this. I saw later people have tapes of The Odd couple. It would be nice to find out if they have prints of "The Odd Couple" because that show was plastered over and I saw an Orange back round variant and purple or another color that is closte to purple. it is nice to meet somone who likes these logos too. I happen to live in suburb of Chicago by the way. |
