I was just wondering, what nationality was John? Does anyone here know? Not like Religion, meaning was he greek, Italian, dutch, etc.

I think they were British, possibly with some Scottish mixed in. I'd have to confirm that though.

Yea, I was thinking he was German too. I either thought he was like British, Canadian, or Germany.

Apparently it was Dutch heritage. I just googled his dad, Tex Ritter and there's some memorial to him in the shape of a Windmill in Nederland, Texas.

Bet his mom was American tho!!

We're cool. You'll get used to my warped sense of humor after a while. (Although it is true that he could have been a Canadian)!

Its true tho I've found in North America, we tend to say our heritages rather than nationalities even though we might be second and third generation Americans or Canadians. Technically that makes us solidly either American or Canadian, but when asked, we'll say what our ancestors were. I think we're the only two countries in the world that do that. Wonder why?
