Ok. Ive seen Sophia and Rose cook in the kitchen all sorts of times. I havent seen Dorothy or Blanche ever cook much. I see Dorothy like twice and Blanche like once. Anyone notice this and anyone know, maybe, how often the girls cook. The only time i think i remember seeing Blanche cook was inthe first season sometime, i believe.

I've seen Blanche make fruit salad and a regular salad. That's about it! Sophia probably cooks most of the time because she is the least busy of the four.

I have to agree. Rose & Sophia seem to be traditional(Rose's scandinavian dishes/Sophias italian dishes). But I never see the others cook. The only time I remember Dorothy cook is one time she was stirring something on the stove.
***** ROSE: Hi Dorothy. Cooking? DOROTHY: No Rose, I'm developing pictures for the Magelin Space Project. |

Blanche is almost always being taken out on a date anyway, so I wouldn't figure she cooked much. Besides, consider her upbringing.
Dorothy's cooking was mentioned once, and I think she said something about not liking to...but I forget. Anyway, why should she want to cook when she has a Sicilian chef in her house? *grins* She raised kids and lived with Stan for 38 years, I think she feels she cooked her meals. (Hey that rhymed...I can't do that anymore) Notice how they always eat store bought cheesecake though? They make their dinners, but desserts are store bought! **Gracie** |

I don't know if this counts, but she said, "Stan, in our 38 years of marriage, you never ONCE cooked a big meal." and he said. "Neither did you." I odn't know if that counts, but there it is.

Sure Dorothy cooked while raising two children! Her remark to Stan was that, in 38 years of marriage, he never once cooked a delicious meal. So, Stan was implying that she can't cook, not that she didn't cook.
