Question If it were K.S. instead of John Ritter, would you still have watched '8SR'?

I'm just wondering, if it had been Katy Sagal instead of John Ritter, would you still have watched '8 simple Rules'?

It may have been John that attracted people (and rightly so), but Its the whole cast that kept people watching.

In other words yes

Yes, I understand. But I'm just trying to get an idea of who on the show is most popular besides John Ritter. That's all.

Let me say I think Kaley Cuoco is the best one on the show in the post John Ritter part of the show. Yes, she is great looking, but I also think she is a great actress. I think she is one of the funniest ones on the show.

No I am one of her female fans...
One of the very few...I've been a fan since I saw her on Married...with Children. She's a good actress. I like John Ritter also. I saw his comedy special

His comedy special is hysterical! I have it and I couldn't stop laughing during the one skit of 'The Over-reacter' where he's the manger in the movie theater . I'm sure that, that's where Jim Carrey got his inspiration from our sweetheart, . By the way, did you happen to see his movie that was released on dvd a few months ago,'Man Of The Year'? Boy.... does John play one good S.O.(you know what). You feel like smaking him in his face of what he does in this movie. It just ogoes to prove what a versitle actor he was.. Another stellar perfomance again John!!!!!!

I think I would have given it a few tries to see what it was like. I think the show wouldn't be as bad as without John Ritter but it would still be missing something.

I originally tuned in to see BOTH John Ritter and Katey Sagal. It was then I first saw a wonderful new young star, Kaley Cuoco. The original concept of the show was the riff between John and Kaley--she wears skimpy clothes, sneaks out on dates, and in general drives him crazy. Katey's role was a bit different, her character was designed as the "straight person" and I sometimes think she was underrated in the show for that reason. Though after John was gone, Kaley was my favorite part of the show.
