Default Rebellion!

I have been working non stop-and I mean that, over 100 hours a week, for a project to come in under a deadline. And I was talking (whining?) about it to a group of people at the Moonlighting Social Club-and one man asked me what I Really want to do to feel better. And I said watch some Moonlighting.
Well the Moonlighting Social Club is big on setting up committees, to discuss how to solve members problems--and they take this very seriously. I mean you would have thought I had lost every thing I owned and then some-the way they reacted.
Well the solution is that a house is rented on the beach between the next meeting of the Moonlighting Social Club (Tuesday, March 29th, 9p.m.) and the meeting of the Moonlighting Social Club (April 5th, Tuesday, 9p.m.)-and everyone 'donated' and people are taking vacation days or weekend days, and I am dispatched to the house to watch the entire run of Moonlighting! Eleven episodes a day-for 6 days! In my non 'California' life I would think this was unusual, but they are Marla's friends, and Marla does this sort of thing all the time. Anyway, I'll let you know what I think of the Moonlighting emersion.

i think i posted before what 'the moonlighting social club' is, so i won't repeat that.
the motto of the club is:
"deep down we are all shallow"
because life is short and we don't want to screw it up by not having a good time.

gosh, i don't know what it is, but i think that i've got 'moonlighting fever'. waiting for the DVDs to come out is kind of like waiting for your wedding day, i can't stand the wait, so i decide not to get married. (david addison also influenced that decision-how shallow is that!) but i can't stop the DVDs coming out.
i was talking to my date about this situation and i've decided to transfer my work to another town, until the DVDs come out. my cousin came back from her 6 day moonlighting marathon Transformed. i'm renting the same beach house, taking the moonlighting tapes and my dog and my work and going Alone. until the DVDs come out.
what is it about moonlighting? it's like an obsession.
well, i leave in 7 hours.

huh?? You decide not to get married, and based part of that decision on a tv-character? You move your work to another town, because you just cannot wait for the Moonlighting DVDs?
