My dad passed away last night
After a long bedridden illness my dad passed on at 4:30 this morning. He was surrounded by his family and died peacefully in his sleep. The funeral service will be Thursday morning. Just wanted to let you know.

Marlene, I'm truly sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. From all you've written, he was a wonderful man who loved his large family. My prayers to you and your entire family, particularly your mother who was his angel and caregiver.
Your father is at peace now. His suffering is over. I'm really sorry.
