I loved The Golden Palace where Blanche, Sophia, and Rose worked at that Hotel with Cheech Martin that was a good show. Where is it playing? I wish Lifetime would air it. It has the Golden Girls in it and Dorthy played in it sometimes, I wish one network was showing it. I miss it. If any one knows if a station would pick it up would you please post about it. Thanks.

Now I have 22 of the 24 episodes. I don't have "A leash on life" and another title I don't remember?

I have never seen any episodes of the Golden Palace. I would love to, anyone know where i can get some.
I wish Lifetime would air it as well. What they could do, but would need permission, would be to run the Golden Girls theme song, not calling it actually Golden Palace, that way they can run both show at the same time, once they run through GG episodes continue with the golden palace. That way no one thinks golden girls is gone and either way the show is on, Do ya get what i mean. I also wish Lifetime or some network would pick up Nurses. I would like to see that, that and Empty Nest. I saw Empty Nest some during its regular run, but never Nurses, I just recently found out it was a spin-off. ------------------ Designing Women JULIA~"...And that Margerie, is the night the lights went out in Georgia. All in the Family EDITH to ARCHIE~"Im not sure who married the meathead, Gloria or me." the Golden Girls SOPHIA~"Silly Rabbi, Trix are for kids." |

that DW quote is from the episode called the Beauty contest, i believe. Its one of my favorites, its one of those moments when Julia tells of someone and for her sister to. heres the hole speech.
It is from "The Beauty Contest"... JULIA: Excuse me, aren't you Marjorie Leigh Winnick, the current Miss Georgia World? MARJORIE: Why, yes I am. JULIA: I'm Julia Sugarbaker, Suzanne Sugarbaker's sister. I couldn't help over hearing part of your conversation. MARJORIE: Well, I'm sorry. I didn't know anyone was here. JULIA: Yes, and I gather from your comments there are a couple of other things you don't know, Marjorie. For example, you probably didn't know that Suzanne was the only contestant in Georgia pageant history to sweep every category except congeniality, and that is not something the women in my family aspire to anyway. Or that when she walked down the runway in her swimsuit, five contestants quit on the spot. Or that when she emerged from the isolation booth to answer the question, "What would you do to prevent war?" she spoke so eloquently of patriotism, battlefields and diamond tiaras, grown men wept. And you probably didn't know, Marjorie, that Suzanne was not just any Miss Georgia, she was the Miss Georgia. She didn't twirl just a baton, that baton was on fire. And when she threw that baton into the air, it flew higher, further, faster than any baton has ever flown before, hitting a transformer and showering the darkened arena with sparks! And when it finally did come down, Marjorie, my sister caught that baton, and 12,000 people jumped to their feet for sixteen and one-half minutes of uninterrupted thunderous ovation, as flames illuminated her tear-stained face! And that, Marjorie --- just so you will know --- and your children will someday know --- is the night the lights went out in Georgia! ------------------ Designing Women JULIA~"...And that, Marjorie --- just so you will know --- and your children will someday know --- is the night the lights went out in Georgia! What? I Thought I saw EVERY SINGLE Designing Women Episode. Well, I stopped after Allison and Carlene came on the show, I quit watching it. Charlene and Suzanne were hysterical!!! The show just stopped being so funny. BTW, I'm a thirteen year old BOY, and I LOVE these shows, my friends call me stupid, but these shows are just hillarious, and they're also WAAAAY better than anything that comes on now. Like, I watch tapes of:
Golden Girls Designing Women All in the Family Mary Tyler Moore Dick van Dyke Bewitched Beverly Hillbillies 60's to 90's, uh that's EALRY nineties. |

Drew, you know Sophia said "silly Rabbi, tricks are for kids" not trix, right? She was referring to the fact that Miles said "it's me, Miles, I'm sorry I was trying to trick you" so I'm just letting you know that you misspelled the word.
No harm meant, it's just something that bothered me from the first time I saw it quoted, and only now have I gotten to say anything.**Gracie** ------------------ Delivery guy: "Blanche Deverux?" Dorothy: "That's Devereaux...it's only pronounced the other way in limericks." ~~~~~~~~~~ Dorothy: "You'll have to excuse my mother, she recently had a stroke rendering her totally annoying." |

I thought about that too, the distributors of The Golden Girls should combine the episodes with The Golden Palace episodes all under the title, The Golden Girls. This is what they did with the episodes of Valerie, Valerie's Family and The Hogan Family.
