I am trying to locate a movie I first saw in America in about 2002/2003. I can't remember the name of the film, but I do remember that it was about two girls who became friends; one of them had (I think) a mean Dad, or stepdad, or was associated somehow with a man, who turned out to be some sort of criminal.
I also remember the two girls quoted from "Winnie the Pooh" at some point. This was the quote: "On Tuesday, when it hails and snows, The feeling on me grows and grows, That hardly anybody knows, If those are these, and these are those." I also remember that there was a scene where the two girls were together on a boat and I'm pretty sure a Bee Gees song was playing - it might have been "You Should Be Dancing", I'm not absolutely certain. I know I liked the film when I saw it, but this is as much as I can remember. If anyone recognises it and could tell me the name, I'd be very grateful. |
