Optimistic View
If 8 Simple Rules comes back for a fourth (and maybe final) season, I predict that Bridget's high school graduation will have a suprise guest (remember Kyle?), CJ gets his Associate Degree from Community College, Kerry recieves a near perfect score on the SATs, Rory wins a state competition (probably in baseball or basketball), and hopefully, Cate will finally marry Eddie Gibb. Pessimistic View If 8 Simple Rules is cancelled next season, here's to a memorable three seasons of laughter, tears, and fun. To Katey, Kaley, Amy, David, Jim, and Martin, I wish you good luck in your future endeavors in entertainment. And to the man who put us here, I say this: Thank you, John Ritter. Without you, we couldn't have the success that is 8 Simple Rules. If anyone else has predictions about the future of 8 Simple Rules, let me know. |

My exact words. If it hadn't been for John Ritter, '8 Simple Rules' would not have happened. He was the show, as far as I'm Concerned. That was basically the main reason why I watched it, because of John Ritter. I have to admit, when it first came out, I really hadn't any interest in it. It was my sister who started watching it. She'd ask me a couple of times to tape it for her. Than I started getting into it after 'Touched By An Angel' ended it's nine year run. When I was watching John, I was so amazed . Here I was thinking, this is the same guy that for 8 seasons played a woman chaser on 'Three's Company', & now, here he is again, playing a father to teenagers. It just goes to prove how versitle John Ritter was. Even in his other dramatic roles such as 'The Only Way Out' with Henry winkler, 'Sling Blade', 'Unnatural Causes', 'Lethal Vows'( which will be airing next month on Lifetime tv), he perfomances( in comedy& drama) were always stellar. If you ever get the chance to see'Loss Of Faith'(aka) 'The Truth About Lying', definately check it out.
