Default New "Entertainment Weekly" says AD is SAFE! (Scans inside)

Remember, folks. One axe = "there's hope," all the way up to five axes, which means the show is sure to go. Only one other show ("Jack and Bobby," another of my favorites) got less than three axes. Let there be hope!

American Dreams (NBC, 7.5 million viewers, down 15%)

"Dreams was hammered by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Now it's battling Hurricane Lost. Still, it's a likely keeper: 'NBC has so many holes in its schedule that keeping it around gives them one less problem to deal with,' says a network insider." (2 axes/out of 5)

IF the show is renewed (and I'm still saying if because I don't want to jinx anything or get overconfident), we need to deluge NBC with thank you cards and letters.

YAY!!!!!! This brought a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE smile to my face!!!

I am rather sad for JOA though.

But I have faith in that show too!

And I agree, if and when NBC renews AD, thank you letters will be pouring out the wazoo!!

Oops, I forgot that Arrested Development also got two axes, which makes J&B, AD, and the other AD being the only shows with less than three axes. I really hope this is a good gauge of the show's possibility of renewal. But I agree with you guys, not to get ahead of ourselves. But turst me, there will be a TON of thank you cards if this gets renewed, probably from the cast members themselves.

2 axes is good news. Not good news for Judging Amy which I watch. It has been on for 4-5 years now. We will see.

I hope that the people over at CBS get a clue and don't cancel Joan of Arcadia! It's one of my favorites too.
