Idea for next season: Ruben Studdard as Fats Domino
Just an idea of mine. I don't believe we have seen Fats Domino on Bandstand yet.

Cool idea, but won't work.
You're right, Rueban as Fats would be really cool. I can totally picture that. I don't think it would work now. Next season is going to be 1966-1967. Fats Domino was out of the picture then. He was so passe, Dick Clark wouldn't have had him on "American Bandstand". However, that would have totally worked during the first season.
If we get another season, I wonder which music acts would be on, and who would play them. Historically speaking, we're into folk-rock, and the psychadelic era. I think Jefferson Airplane would be cool, but I don't have any thoughts as to who should play them. |
