At long last, the wait is over. Good Times will be coming to TV Land this July. It'll launch with a 48 hour weekend marathon on July 23-24. More info coming soon!

The marathon sounds cool. I still hope that the season 5 dvd will come along soon after TVLand starts airing the show though.

This is just okay since the show has 4 DVD sets.

That was my reaction as well.
I would have preferd The Jeffersons.... there's still 9 more seasons of that not on DVD.

By that time all but ONE season of Good Times will be on DVD so acquiring Good Times Makes no sense. Now they can air GT and Sanford and Son Back to Back, Two Shows that are just about complete on DVD-lol

Television has nothing to do with DVD. Shows already on DVD are still doing well on TV Land (Three's Company, Andy Griffith, etc).

How about cable?? Which, if I'm not mistaken.... takes in more people than all of those combined.
