Default 23 March 2005 "No Satisfaction" [SPOILERS]

First off, let me just complain about the recap that started off the episode. Showing us the scene with Jack, Pete and Ted really dampened the blow of hearing he had been in an accident. In fact, I had totally forgot about Ted. I would have been shocked had they skipped over him in the recap and then have us find out about the accident. As it was, I was less shocked.

That said, this episode was great. I think Pete really shined in this one, especially when he stormed out of the house and then later at the hospital, and later still when he was sitting with Jack after they decided to take Ted off the machine.

Additionally, the plot about Patty wanting to try being cool was amusing; her transformation from nerdy girl to cool girl was brilliant, and her comments on Bandstand were hilarious. Beth deciding to go see her father was a bit predictable, given what happened Ted and his daughter, but it was nice for that to be resolved. Good to see Henry pulling his own, and Sam's hope for the future. Poor JJ, having someone take credit for his idea. As glad as I am that he was eventually given that credit, I must say I am equally as happy that he did not try to confront anyone - it just came up.

All in all, as I said earlier in my post, this was a great episode. I will really miss this show if it does not return next season. Hopefully the season finale wraps things up, though, in case it does not return.

I agree with all of the points you have made!
Tonight's episode was wonderful, as usual.
The scenes with Pete, Jack, and Ted were really very touching.
I too hope that we get to see another year of American Dreams! There is so much left to tell!

I thought the episode was great, too. Patty was hilarious on Bandstand. I thought that they were going to have her become a regular, but I'm glad that they didn't....it's not her.

I'm glad that the guy realized it was JJ's idea...

I really liked the part when they went to the concert and were dancing outside in the parking lot. Luke and Roxanne are so funny.

Patty on Bandstand was hillarious! I loved how she stuck to being herself instead of trying to be someone she wasn't.

Well Mr. Clark, I would be less them honest with myself and others if I were to give this song more then a 56 rating."

The whole audience gasps at the low rating for the less then "grammatically
correct" song called Satisfaction.

That was great. You go Patty.

I was rolling. Great show. I think you covered it perfectly tvobscurities. Oh, except for one little thing: Chris.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I think I will be crying next Wednesday at 9 PM PST.

I love American Dreams

I totally agree, Jack is such a good guy, and JJ is just a better looking version of him!!! Next week looks really good, I think it will have us all on the edge of our seats. I have faith in Meg, she's not going to give up her life for Chris, no matter how romantic of a notion it may seem, she's make the right decision. The whole episode was great, I can't imagine why people don't watch this show, I love the pryors!!!

You know what?

That is what is so incredible for me when it comes to American Dreams. I care about each and every character so much.

From Meg to Sam, from Roxanne to Luke, from Henry to Jack, from Nathen to JJ and Beth. I just care about everybody.

There has not been a show in a long long long long long long time that I can say that about.

I especially love Jack, but I really care about everybody. They are like a part of my own family.

I am getting a little weepy just writing that.

How cornballish.
