Well, in my estimation, this week is a whole lotta overtime. I worked both my days off and today went in early. However, I don't get overtime pay or anything. Just regular time. Part time has its ups and downs.

Technically, I work overtime all the time. I work about 50-60 hours a week, but I don't get paid by the hour, so while it is over 40 hours, I don't get paid the overtime.

I used to work alot of overtime. I never did like it. I thought it was a waste of my time plus Uncle Sam has to to take his share of it. Where I work now we started out working tons of overtime and now we barely make 36 hrs a week. I don't mind overtime once in awhile, but not everyday.

My dad loves overtime. He'd work 7 days a week if he could. He just loves money.

Yeah, the company I work for has a lot of overtime in the summer.
Sometimes 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mon-Fri, plus Sat. either 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM.
Too much!

From May of Last year until January of this year, we did some contract work for a big company doing excavation and concrete work. If we worked more than 8 hours a day it was overtime, and we got overtime all day Saturday.

We all made out very good because we always worked four or five hours extra during the week and almost every Saturday for that entire period.

Working six days a week was a bit of a drag after a while, but the money made it worthwhile.
