Default Kate Hudson to star in the I Dream of Jeannie Movie

I am stoked about this, because I have been saying how perfect the pretty blonde would be for the role.

Kate Hudson to play Barbara Eden in I Dream of Jeannie Movie

Gurinder Chadha is all set to direct Hollywood star Kate Hudson in the blockbuster adaptation of the hit American serial I Dream of Jeannie. .

‘It is an adaptation of the hit American serial, I Dream Of Jeannie. It is about a feisty girl from 200 BC who gets turned into a genie, is put in a bottle by an evil king and is hurled into space, where, 2,000 years later, she crashes into a NASA astronaut and ends up on Cocoa beach in Miami.

I`ve finalised Kate Hudson to play Jeannie. We start shooting this summer in the US and Canada,’ she said.

Excited about the prospect of going into a completely new and far more lavish area of filmmaking, Gurinder revealed that this large-screen adaptation of the hit series would take the main character to her beginnings.

‘You could say my film begins before the serial. We chose Kate Hudson after zeroing in on a handful of big names. Kate conveys the vivacity, mystery and magic of the main character... qualities that Kate has probably inherited from her lovely mom, Goldie Hawn.’

LOL, last year, Lindsay Lohan was rumored to be starring in it.

I'll probably go see the movie.

There's no way she can fill out Barbara Eden's costume...

Last year Keira Knightley was reported to have won the role- something I didn't agree with because she's still far too young. Apparently the film is going to focus more on Jeannie before becoming a genie- when she's a young girl living in her home country- the last I heard on darkhorizons, it was going to be set in the middle east. I don't like that idea either- the show was great fun because of the problems she had adapting to the modern day.

her ears? You have way too much time on your hands if you're looking at the girls ears.

Okay........ I was looking for a picture of Kate Hudson's big ears. All I found was these 2 half eared pictures. Is she truly hiding them?

I don't think that her ears are that big. They just stick out a bit. So do Ashley Judd's and Faith Hill's.

Yeah, exactly that.We do live in a shallow world, dont we? Kate is beautiful despite her ears, which aren't even abnormal anyway. But if she wants to hide them with her hair, she can.Thats what Goldie Hawn has done, because Kate has her ears.Leelee Sobieski and Britney Spears haven't got perfect ears either.Who cares!!! She's still beautiful, and I dont alot of people would be looking at her ears. The magazine I buy regularly also picked up on it though and I just thought it was low.

Fresh Princess of Belair, the picture you posted is exactly what I am talking about, her ears look horrible in that picture and come to tihnk of it,thats how Jeannie wore her hair,so I dont think Kate will be hiding her ears in the movie and her ears look huge! YUCK

I think she looks gorgeous in the photo I posted and by the way,I happen to have ears like Kates,so I take ofence to what you are saying. Its people like you that really annoy me,because I know this guy who shares your shallow view on ears that are bigger than average, and his nastiness sent me to a plastic surgeon who refused to operate on me because he didn't think my ears were bad (and nor are Kate Hudson's) He also said my ears didn't take away from my prettiness, which I only say because its not someone's ears that make them ugly or beautiful. And here's the funny thing, the guy is f*cking cross eyed! And here he is picking on someone for their ears!! I could point out his flaw as well, but I'm not as shallow and low as he is.You'd agree that having slightly big ears that you can hide with your hair,is not as bad as being cross eyed.By the way, apple cheeks, you dont happen to be a boy who is cross eyed are you? Because you sound very much like the guy I'm referring to.
