Story, here. KNBC-TV, channel 4, Los Angeles-March 23, 2005 If the kid was at the other end of the court and it was 200ft., and makes the shot at the :00.0 mark and the buzzer's off, then that's a real doozy right there. I don't think so.

Yeah, that's easily a top 5 shot for me. They're down by 2 in overtime, and he sinks that with no time to think, laying on the floor over the 3 point line, and they win the game in the 2nd overtime. That's simply never been done before.
I recall a shot by Isiah Rider back when he was a Timberwolf. He was chasing down a loose ball about to go out of bounds...he grabs it, and blindly heaves it over his head (I think) and it magically goes in from about 30 feet away. That game winning shot we saw a few weeks ago, which was a full court shot, is about equally impressive. |
