Default Lisa Marie Kimmell - I'm still puzzled

Having just watched the segment again, and knowing what we now know about Lisas murder, there are aspects of case which to me still make no sense..

How could so many reliable witnesses (Donna Kirkpatrick for example) have seen a blonde girl driving her sports car in the days between her disappearance and her death, (when we know she was being held captive by her killer)...

some of these sightings mention a male companion....are we supposed to believe that she was driving along busy streets in broad daylight with the killer (or someone else) on board without attempting to try and get help...and if she wasnt the person driving, who was, and how could they have obtained her car when the murderer ended up burying it on his land..?
...
Did you also know that the Sheriff featured on the show was later considered a suspect(a DNA test cleared him) and ended up comitting suicide in 2000!?

The most important thing of course is that the killer has been brought to justice for a truly heinous crime...but for me, this case remains mysterious...any thoughts?

At this point, all I can say is this: even after a case is solved, there can still often be questions that remain unanswered. And this case may end up being one of them.

Hi studster! As you may or may not know Lisa's mother Sheila Kimmell does post on here from time to time and has been kind enough to answer some questions concerning Lisa's case that UM didn't have. Here is a post when Justin asked her about why there were some many supposed sightings of her daughter when police believe she was already deceased.

Wink Thanks CrystalDawn!

That certainly is enlightening, i wasnt aware of that link, and it does go a long way to explaining many of the "sightings" of Lisa, yet Donna Kirkpatrick seemed willing to stake her life on having seen the car with the "Lil Miss" plate a couple of days AFTER Lisa disappeared, with a blonde girl driving it...so that remains a bit odd...

I'm looking forward to reading the book on the case when it comes out..

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they know when her story will be on Cold Case Files again. I have yet to see it. Thanks!

If my memories are correct, the episode was shown within the past few weeks. But it wouldn't hurt to check the A&E web site every now and then for upcoming episodes (aetv.com). The episode is appropriately titled "Lil' Miss."
