It's Finally Here: FOX Sets 'Tru Calling' Premiere

LOS ANGELES (www.thefutoncritic.com) -- One of our most frequently asked questions got answered today as FOX has finally scheduled the second season premiere of "Tru Calling."

The sophomore drama, which FOX confirmed in January won't be picked up for a third season (read the story), will debut with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, March 31 beginning at 8:00/7:00c. Said broadcast will replace the previously announced repeats of "The O.C." on the night ("The Family Ties" and "The Power of Love").

The following week, "Tru" will take over the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c slot currently occupied by "Point Pleasant." That series will head to hiatus while "The O.C." will remain at 8:00/7:00c.

The battle rages on in the special two-hour premiere of season two. Tru's father moves to the city so that he and Jack can maintain their alliance without Tru's knowledge.
