That's awsome. I'm already a huge fan of the Spider-Man movies and of course a huge Thomas Haden Church fan. The combo is great.

No way!! That's awesome!! I don't care if it seems like he's sold out. At least now he's visible and is being noticed.

Anyone know who he's going to play?

Could it be Dr. Conners/The Lizard?

Years of isolation in the Witness Protection program has driven normally mild-mannered and innocent Lowell into a neurotic frenzy. Upon learning the ex-Mrs. Mather, Bunny, has started dating photo-hound Peter Parker, Lowell unleashed a diobolical plot to sabotage Car-B-Q's worldwide!!!!

Sorry for the spoiler!

Thomas Haden Church did not sell out!! He did like anyone who has a job or a career would do, move up as high as they can. I am so happy for Thomas Haden Church. Way to go!!!

Thumbs up

I'm happy for Thomas. He's very talented and has long needed that one big break. He got it with Sideways. That movie and his Oscar nomination are going to open doors wide open for him. Great news!

They're keeping the identity of his character a secret for now. I wonder what villian he's going to be?
I'm sure there will be an answer in a few days...

Ugh, I'm definately not a fan of the "Spiderman" movies, but it would be interesting to see THC play one of the villains, so I just might see the 3rd Spiderman.... when it comes out on video.

I heard he'll be resurrecting his role as Lowell to play the villain on Spiderman 3. It will be interesting to see if this crossover concept works.

How? Just because Spider-Man doesn't win an Oscar doesn't mean its not as good. All the Spider-Man movies have gotten good critical acclaim. It can do wonders for his career

Sold out??? For Spiderman 3?? I don't think so - Spiderman movies have done real well both critically and financially and I am glad to see THC getting more roles these days!! I could have understood the "sold out" comment when he did 'George of the Jungle 2' but not Spiderman 3.

Just my 2 cents.
