There are so many but first for me is the Haircomb episode. I loved that one when I was a kid and I still love it! I looked forward to seeing Beaver trot downstairs with his own greasy 'do and being hauled to his room by his mother!

I tend to like the episodes that have more Ward and June scenes in them but one of my favorites is "Beaver and Poncho" and "Wally's new Suit". Poncho was so cute. It was just a cute episode all the way through and I loved the look on Ward's face when June was knitting the sweater for Poncho and Ward thought she might be pregnant or at least that was the impression they were trying to make.

My favorite (if I'd have to pick one) would be Bachelor At Large. Any with Eddie in them as I think he makes things interesting for Wally and Beaver. lol!

Guys,
Too many favorite episodes to list!!! I would have to go by specific themes or elements of the series. 1.) I seem to like the episodes that focussed more on when Beaver had a problem or issue as opposed to Wally having a conflict. 1a.) Beaver with any kind of problems at school were some of the best episodes of the series! 2.) The most under-rated character and funniest was Larry Mondello's mother! She had the hilarious voice when she was mad at Larry! Any episodes that she is in are great!!!! It's too bad that Rusty Stevens moved with his familiy to New Jersey. Had he not done so, Madge Blake and Rusty Stevens could have had more episodes together! Then, begining in Season 4, when Rusty and Madge left, they brought in that God-aweful Richard to try to replace Larry! YUCK!!!! 3.) Season's 5 and 6 are my favorites because they dealt more with teenager type conflicts for Beaver. I am in the minority on this, but I like the older seasons better than the earlier ones. I like Beaver as a teen more than Beaver as a young child. 4.) I also wish that we could have seen more conflicts and funny situations with Lumpy and his Dad. I loved how he called him "Daddy!" and Fred called him a "Big Boob" and " Big Stupid Oaf!!!" because that's exactly what Lumpy's character was made out to be!!! Jack |
