Post Who is your fav guy blanche dated?

I think i liked the blind guy the best. he was a gentleman, good looking and very wholesome. he brought out the woman in blanche and made her face her skeleton in the closet about her thinking he wouldnt like her due to her personality, and not just for her looks.

Yes, I like him a lot, too; that was John Quinn. I also really like: Mel Bushman, Simon (when she got her pacemaker), Jake (the caterer) and Steven (had a heart attack). I feel like I'm forgetting one, but I don't think even Blanche could remember them all!

Thumbs up

I liked all those guys...but I think the one you're forgetting is Jerry. He was the guy who was heavy into romance. He originally was supposed to go out with Dorothy, but she went to Beatlemania instead, and Blanche took her place on the blind date.

I liked the caterer, Jake. Blanche dumped him because he didn't have table manners but in the end she realised she loved him! All the other girls fancied him too!

Yeah, I agree with you. Jerry seemed perfect for Blanche. He cared about her and treated her like a "lady". They were pretty cute together. It was funny when Blanche tried to have sex with Jerry at some tropical hotel. But I thought the kiss they shared was so sweet and romantic.

Jerry was a good guy.

Personally, I think Jake was the man though. He had it together...

There was also the blind guy that Blanche dated but wanted to break it off because he was not attracted to her for her great beauty. Blanche was so shallow sometimes, she made me quite mad!!!

Talking Blanches best boy!!

The best man that Blanche ever dated to me was the man she dated when the pace maker was installed in her. He was patient and didn't dump her because she didn't want sex. He waited and told her to take as long as she needed. He seemed kind and understanding. I wish that he would have been a regular boyfriend just like Rose had Miles. Too bad Blache didn't plan on marrying him instead of that rotten biggamist on the first episode!! Take care all and keep watching the Golden Girls on Lifetime

Blanche: There must be homosexuals who date women.
Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians.

There was also the man played by Ken Howard (the really tall guy). Blanche persued him relentlessly and he wasn't interested in starting a sexual relationship so quickly. At the end, he explained himself to her and left, and Blanche said he made her feel "like a lady"...

I don't remember the name of this guy too much, but Blanche had would have flings with him, and his was MIA for a while. This worried Blanceh and she had a key to his house and she and the girls went there to see what happened to him. And then Blanche ended up falling for him for REAL.

That would be good ol' reliable Mel Bushman, played by Alan King!

I liked Ham whatever-his-name-was, the guy she wanted in high school who showed up years later.
