Default Is Friday night a possibility?

I know that moving a show to Friday night is usually a precursor to cancellation, but I think we would all be happy with one more season of the show.

Why not have AD trade places with whatever is on on Friday nights? The overall television audience on Friday night is smaller (so the ad rates would be cheaper), but I think a show like AD could hold an audience on Friday night. The show has a diverse viewership base, one that is not going to be lost to going out on Friday nights all the time.

I am a newbie here. I have been a "lurker" for a while here. Anyways, I totally agree about Friday night. In fact, I did send some emails to Jeff Zucker as suggested here. I also suggested moving the show to Friday nights. AD is the best show on TV. I am so hoping that they decide to find a spot for the show!

Cool

This is just my opinion.I don't think Friday is good at all alot of people go out Fridays nights especially since it's getting nicer out now and its Spring and they may not know to tape it..

However I go out on Friday and Saturday nights to plays or movies or even just to the mall or dinner and I know to set the timer.

Putting it on Friday is just a way to kill the show so in my opinion I don't think Friday is good.Mel

The only problem with Fridays for me is Joan of Arcadia is on 8/7 Central, and it will definetly be compeition. (IF CBS chooses to renew that show....hopefully they will!) So MAYBE if they choose to put AD on at 8/9 Central, it would work?
What else is on up against it at that time? I know there's JAG on CBS. But what's on NBC? ABC has TGIF, which I don't think is as popular as it once was, I mean come on, you can't beat the TGIF line-up back in the 90's! (Which was the bomb! ) And the WB has some comedies on Fridays. I believe Fox has Bernie Mac if I'm not mistaken, but I don't know what else airs Fridays.

It's really sad when two of the best shows on television are endangered of being cancelled.

Friday night would be great except there's competition from Joan of Arcadia which is another family type show which I really like

I don't care what day or channel it is on, as long as it is on.
