Has Anyone Heard anything reguarding on the lawsuit?

I was just wondering if anyone has heard about the pending lawsuit reguarding John Ritter's death. They were ( Entertainment Tonite) suppose to have a segment on a while ago about an update on the pending case, and it was bumped off due to Brad & Jen's breakup.
Although, I was surprise that when Amy Yasbeck was on not too long ago, 'Good Day NY', and 'The View', she didn't mention it at all. But she did whoever speak about John. Althogh I can also understand that they had her on to promote her new show' Life On A Stick', I guess maybe she's unable to talk about the pending case.

In a recent article, it said Amy has been advised by her lawyers not to talk about the case, but says she feels "ripped off. Anyone who knew John feels ripped off." So that's that,lol. Hey, when was she on Good Day NY?

Amy Yasbeck is almost as goofy as her late husband, John Ritter

Over a pizza-and-soda lunch at the dignified Maple Drive restaurant, Yasbeck cracks double-entendres about hot dogs, burps into the reporter's tape recorder and jokes about her dyed roots and her addiction to sugar.

"Teeth are replaceable," she says. "I saw it on The Swan."

She then lets loose on the title of her new Fox sitcom, Life on a Stick (premiering Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT). She says that "everyone has their own connotations, but I go right to the filthy place."

Her sense of humor helped her cope with Ritter's death on Sept. 11, 2003. "The whole family was laughing in the process of our grief," she says, "because that's who John was."

A year and a half after a thoracic aortic aneurysm took Ritter's life, Yasbeck, 42, still mourns him. "I feel more married to John than ever," she says while playing with her wedding ring, until it slips right off her finger. "Huh," she says. "Didn't even know this came off."

She winces at the thought of being fixed up on a date. And she says she would be furious if a tabloid were to suggest she is involved with someone new, as happened shortly after Ritter's death.

"I still feel completely connected to him, so in love with him," she says. "I certainly wouldn't want to be the man who was compared to John Ritter through my eyes."

Ritter's death left Yasbeck a single mom, raising their daughter, Stella, 6. "There are so many throat punches every day that you don't even expect," Yasbeck says.

Just days after Ritter's death, Stella's school announced it had established a weekly Dad's Day, during which fathers help serve lunch. "When I got that memo, I was like, 'Are you kidding me?' " recalls Yasbeck, who attends Dad's Day in Ritter's place.

Yasbeck keeps Ritter alive for Stella by having her watch Three's Company reruns. Stella refers to that younger '70s version of her father as "Daddy no beard," because later, Ritter often sported facial hair.

Ritter also has been teaching Stella how to read via the computer-game version of the animated PBS character he voiced, Clifford the Big Red Dog. "It's so weird hearing him talk to her," Yasbeck says.

Ritter's books are still stacked on the backs of toilets in the L.A. home Yasbeck shares with Stella, their cat, Peekaboo, and poodle, Critter Ritter. John's wedding ring hangs on a chain around Yasbeck's neck, and she wears her husband's sweaters.

Stella spends time with Ritter's three grown kids from his first marriage to actress Nancy Morgan - Jason, Carly and Tyler. Yasbeck says they "are all such a joy." In fact, during this interview, Carly, who was home on a break from Vassar College in New York, was babysitting Stella.

On her sitcom, Yasbeck is also a stepmother, this time to teenage boy Laz, who works with his friends at a shopping mall's hot dog stand.

And her character, Michelle, has a hot sex life with her husband, Rick, played by real-life family friend Matthew Glave. He hopes that "there is a comfort level (for Amy) knowing that it's the husband of a good friend of hers that she suddenly has to grope, kiss and throw down onto a bed. She feels safe with me."

Show creator Victor Fresco had no worries about Yasbeck being too grief-stricken to play a sexy lead. "They put it out that she was ready to go back to work, so I assumed she was OK," he says. "And she has been delightful."


Yasbeck's legal team has advised her not to discuss the wrongful-death lawsuit she and Ritter's children have filed against the surgeons who worked on Ritter in his final moments.
