Default barry and maureen/chris and eve dating

BRADY BUNCH: WHY WE DON'T DATE EACH OTHER!:

Four figures-two with long shiny blond hair and the other two with curly dark hair-sat in a circle on the grass. All four were in deep thought-and coming closer it was easy to recognize the young stars of "The Brady Bunch!"

Maureen McCormick's feminine voice broke the silence, "Then we're all agreed that we have to do something about these rumors?" Three heads nodded in agreement.

What rumors were they so concerned about that they sat still during a break in shooting on the Brady set? What could be so troublesome that they didn't notice what a beautifully sunny California day it was?

The rustling of papers again interrupted the silence that hung over the usually talkative Brady stars.

Chris Knight was unfolding a letter and he read, "Listen to this one. 'Dear Chris, Is it true that you and Eve Plumb are dating and that Maureen and Barry Williams are girlfriend and boyfriend?'" Chris re-folded the letter and looked up helplessly at his friends.

Barry, Maureen, and Eve wore the same worried look that Chris had on his face!

One Word

Both questions in that letter could have been answered with one word -NO! Barry and Maureen are not girlfriend and boyfriend. Chris and Eve are not dating!

The truth is that all four are the best possible friends and that's all! They care for each other the way good friends do. When Maureen is feeling blue, Barry can bring a smile to her face by telling her a joke.

When Eve looks a little sad, Chris goes out of his way to bring the sunshine back into her eyes. And the two girls do the same things for the boys when they seem a bit "down in the dumps!"

All four try to keep each other happy and smiling for one reason ... all in the name of FRIENDSHIP. The friendship they share and treasure with each other.

Special Closeness

They feel a special closeness and bond with each other because they work together everyday and because their TV show means so very much to each of them. But their special friendship is threatened every time they hear or read the question: "Is it true that you're dating each other?"

All four Brady stars admit that the friendship they share right now means too much to each of them to ever give up. And if they dated each other, part of their special friendship would be changed some how and none of them want it changed at all!

But still that question followed them, and it embarrassed them a little to have to always explain their friendship to people. Their answer, "We're too good a friends to date each other" made sense to them but to the people asking the question it made no sense at all!

Back to Work

Barry saw the assistant director motioning to him, "It's time to go back to work, group." They felt much better now. They realized that they felt good about their reasons for not dating each other-and that they would have to be patient and wait for others to understand their reasons too.

Barry helped Maureen up, and Chris pulled Eve up. As they walked back to the Brady set together, the familiar ring of four happy young voices could be heard. They realized what a truly gorgeous day it was and how great it felt to be sharing such a wonderful day with friends!

i found this on maureen mccormicks site: http://www.ttinet.com/mmfc
to find it click on information, then vintage teen articles. i dont know when it was written, but i was just thinking, it could have been when maureen and barry had a thing goin on, and eve had a crush on chris. wat do ya think?
