Greetings,
Newbie here. I am looking for an episode of Unsolved Mysteries that I read about a while back on some internet forum. I only remember that it was about a guy (maybe in Canada?) who claimed people were trying to kill him, then he fled to the US ( i think?) where he was later found dead under suspicious circumstances? Sorry I don't remember any more specific details, it's just a vague recollection from some months ago. Does this ring any bells? Thanks for any help. Hawker |

Yes I remember. His name was Blair Adams. He was from Canada and was found dead in a parking lot in Tennessee. He was acting very strange and paranoid in the days leading up to his death and no one knows why he went to Tennessee. He died from a blow that ruptured his stomach and I think was found partially clothed. I have this story in my collection. Hope it helps!
Welcome to the board!

it's not a murder or I don't think it has be classified as a homicide - Some folks strongly believe that it is a case of suicide - others think some sort of strange accident - I think Blair adams killed himself possibly during a nervous breakdown of some sort probably induced by some unknown paranoia/stress induced syndrome that was plaguing him during the final months of his life. Then again he could have been murdered by the person he thought was chasing him or someone else entirely different

I have never, ever seen this segment. Does anyone know what year it first aired? Is it an older segment? Has it been shown on Lifetime recently?

Hey UMfan77, I sent you a pm.
I would say it is somewhere in the middle, not super old but not one of the newer ones either. I do see it aired on UM once in a while. I totally agree with you DarkDante on how Blair died! |

This is one of those cases that just stay with you. Also, something Unsolved Mysteries did best, showing somebody act strange in front of a surveillance camera!, this time at the hotel he checked into for the last time. It kinda reminds me of the Cindy James case, you just dont know either way, if it was paranoia or if they were actually being stalked.
