1. In this episode we get to see June actually doing housework. She's wearing a bandana on her head and is cleaning the windows in Beaver's room. Can you think of any other episodes in which June is seen doing any housework that involves the expenditure of real "elbow grease." Baking cakes and clipping rose trees don't count.
2. Beaver had "Honolulu Punch" at David's party. Is that anything like "Hawaiian Punch?" I've searched the web for Honolulu Punch but haven't found it. I did find a Honolulu Hammer. Mrs. Manning could have served this to the adult guests at the party and a watered down version to the kids. Honolulu Hammer 1 1/2 oz vodka 1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur 1 splash pineapple juice 1 splash grenadine syrup Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve. 3. Did you think the beach toy was inappropriate for David? I didn't. I think Beaver was out of line criticizing his mother's selection of gifts. The beach toy was probably less than $2.00 and Beaver's camera couldn't have cost more than $5.00. It's difficult to believe that Beaver would part with a truly expensive camera. |

It could have been called Honolulu Punch for Hawaiian Punch was a well known punch. Producers may have had to pay the company for use of the product.

In "Tire Trouble" she was vacuuming the stairs when Eddie came to the door. Iknow I've seen a few more episodes where she was vacuuming too. |

I don't recall the name of the episode but in the story of items being stolen from school lockers, June was vacuuming when she found three stolen items under Beaver's bed.
I remember an early episode in which Beaver mowed the lawn for Wally. June was outdoors doing some yard work alongside of Beaver. She had dressed down (she was wearing pants) and sitting on the front sidewalk trimming the grass at the sidewalk's edge. |

Most interesting in the "Forgotten Party" episode, June was NOT wearing her neacklace, pearls, or bow while cleaning Beaver's windows. She was wearing just a blouse opened at the throat.
