Default Question about episode "Breaking Point".

I used to be a huge fan of The Facts of Life back when it was airing in syndication on Nick at Nite. Then those evil bastards took it off of that station... *shakes fist*. Anyway, I do believe they neglected to show a few episodes, one of which was season two's "Breaking Point". All I know about that episode is that Blair was running for class president and one of the candidates commits suicide, but I'd really like to know more about it. Every description of the episode that I find online is very short and vague. Could someone please give me something like a summary of this episode? I would be most greatful. I wanted to see it very badly and was upset that I missed out. Thank you.

I can give you some very detailed details about the episode "Breaking Point."
-In the beginning as you know Blair was running for class president and she was so sure that she would win and so was everyone else. It was a real surprise when she did not win and the girl who was running against her who alot of girls also knew..Cynthia did win. Blair was depressed n all when she lost for days and then after Cynthia left for a while after being congradulated by alota people, then Blair and the rest of the 3 went to go do their stuff. Blair was rotten to her and sarcastic being jealous that she had lost to her. Mrs. Garrett tried to cheer Blair up and then Tootie walked into either the bathroom or the bedroom she was in and found Cynthia laying on the floor with a bottle of pills open and empty. Mrs. G and Natalie went to go see her as Blair was calling the hospital. The next day the girls were very shocked and alarmed by Cynthia's incident. They were making fudge and other stuff for her after she was suppose to wake up. Mrs. Garrett got a call and then Cynthia did not wake up and she was dead. Tootie was affected the most and Natalie was the most shocked. Blair felt terrible about the way she had treated Cynthia. Jo also mentioned that her old best friend Gloria jumped off the school roof. Jo didn't really take dying/death to heart like the other girls did in public. Later when all the girls helped pack away Cybthias stuff w/ Mrs. G they were discussing how all of this did not make sense. Nothing added up to what Cynthia was capable of. Jo was right w/ most of the speech and most sensible. Tootie had remembered the necklace that Cynthia gave to her just the day before she killed herself or day before. She was upset because she was thinking it wasn'r right what she did and she left without saying goodbye and she was selfish for only caring about killing herself. Natalie couldn't get into her head that a teenager would want to kill themselves. Blair couldn't see that anything was wrong with Cynthia. Jo pointed out some good facts that were true. Mrs. G even said there are things teens need to discuss with parents or her or kids ur own age. Then Jo even said this just doesn't add up its scary cause it don't even make sense. And Jo picked up the ticket in Cybthia's things and found that it read Nevada and she wasn't suppose to be headed there and then Blair said something about divorce and then they figured it out and it did all add up. Even though that was probably the reason..sometimes things will just be left unknown. Mrs. G then told Tootie well see sometimes there is warning signs and then Tootie thought I want to remember Cynthia and if she gave me this necklace then she must of cared about me. So she kept it and Blair had an idea of holding a teen center to get teens to talk.

Thats about itt--hope it helped

Thank you so much, XXRIPtHeDiViSiOnXX. I really appreciated that.

So were Cynthia's parents divorcing? Did everyone figure that that had something to do with Cynthia's suicide?

Once again, thank you so much. You are so sweet. That helped very much.
